Are you ready to apply to Southeast? We're excited to have you join our campus community.

Southeast Missouri State University wants you to become a future Redhawk and the Office of International Education and Services will be delighted to help in the admissions process.

If you are not a U.S. citizen or you do not yet hold U.S. Permanent Resident status, you should apply as an international student.

Update: Spring 2025 Application Deadline

Effective immediately, the Spring 2025 undergraduate applications for students from Nepal are closed. We’ve received an incredibly high volume of freshman applications from Nepal and we closed the application to ensure we can accommodate all those who have already been admitted.

Any Nepalese students with incomplete applications have until 11:59 p.m. (CDT) on Thursday, August 8, to complete their applications (e.g., pay the application fee, and upload all required documents). After that time, incomplete applications will not be considered.

All interested Nepalese undergraduate students applying after August 8 are encouraged to apply for the Fall 2025 intake. That application is open. Spring 2025 graduate applications from Nepal are still welcome.

The deadline for undergraduate (bachelor's) applicants from all other countries to apply is November 1, 2024. However, interested applicants should apply as soon as possible to ensure timely and efficient processing. All other deadlines remain the same as posted in the policies section of the SEMO international admission website. Additional information on graduate program applications can be found at Graduate Degree Programs

The deadline to apply for the Spring 2025 intake of the MS Applied Computer Science and MS Cybersecurity program has been extended to Friday, November 1. To meet the deadline, all required materials must be uploaded, the application must be submitted, and the application fee must be paid before 11:59 p.m. (U.S. Central time). Applications not completed by the deadline, and applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered for admission for Spring 2025. The application for Fall 2025 is currently open.
