Saturday, September 28
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Visit the Charles L. Hutson Greenhouse for The Mummas and Pawpaws Fall Fest. There will be fall mums and pumpkins for sale, a Master Gardeners seminar, walking tours of the Nemanick Gardens, pawpaw refreshments, food trucks, and more!
The greenhouse is located at 1039 Bertling Street. It is open to the public all year. Call (573) 651-2316 for more information.
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Tours of Academic Hall Dome
The main floor of Academic Hall
Have you ever wondered how far you can see from the top of the Dome in Academic Hall? Attend one of the tours and find out. Tours end promptly at 3:00, so be sure to come early!
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Family-friendly activities, in and around the Kent Library Plaza and the University Center. Compete with or against your student in physical challenges, bingo or trivia. Visit our SEMO spirit station to create a spirit stick or don a cheek cheer to wear to the football game later in the day.

Family Picnic with a Visit from the Vargases

Football tailgate in front of Houck Stadium
Kick off the football game with appearances by the Southeast Missouri State Marching Band, Sundancers, Cheerleaders, and Rowdy! Also, cheer on the football team as they stroll around the stadium in the Redhawk Walk two hours before kickoff. Personal tailgating space is available in the Wehking Alumni Center parking lots.

Symphony Sampler
Cultural Arts Center - River Campus
A light-hearted introduction to the symphony, featuring student musicians from the symphony in a variety of chamber ensembles. Admission is free!

Riverfront Market
A downtown farmer's market hosted by Old Town Cape, featuring local produce and farm goods, artisan crafts, hot foods, art, and live music. The market is located at 35 S. Spanish Street.
10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
A Day on the River
Hosted by the Cape County Conservation Nature Center at the Riverfront Park.
Discover what the river has to offer you! Hands-on activities will teach you the importance of the Mississippi River and surrounding wetlands. This event is fun for the entire family featuring live river animals and free boat rides on the Mississippi with Missouri Department of Conservation river scientists. Boat rides are first come, first serve. This event is located at Riverfront Park depending on river levels.
