We know what an important partner you are in helping students find the college that’s right for them.

We want to share as much about Southeast with you as we can in hopes you can help us find our next flock of Redhawks who are going to do great things.

If you aren’t familiar with Southeast, allow us to share just a bit. First, we’re a school of doers and hard workers. Our students know they will earn everything they get. Our faculty know our small campus means they can give students the time and attention they need. Our mission means we educate students ready to take on the world. And, to do that, we have to offer them groundbreaking academics, looking toward the marketplace, so they’re ready for a career. Finally, more than a few students have told us when they visited, it just felt like home.

My Southeast for High School Counselors

Using our My Southeast portal, you can see which students from your high school have applied to Southeast, check their decision status, see what materials are needed to complete their file, what materials have been received, and their scholarship awards. It's simple, secure, and provides instant access to your students' information. Request access from Brooke Lockhart at blockhart@semo.edu

Who is My Admission Counselor?

We firmly believe we’re partners in the college search journey for students, so we are here to help answer any questions you may have. Admissions counselors are assigned territories, so you always know who to contact for quick assistance.

SEMO Events

To help students experience campus and learn if Southeast is the right fit school for them, we host lots of events throughout the year. We also host several events for high school counselors.

First Generation Students

It’s a pretty big deal to be the first in your family to go to college. It can also be pretty difficult to navigate the college process when no one has gone before you. That’s why we’ve created a page of frequently used terms to help students with the words they’ll encounter as they search for the right school and as a place to cheer them on. Because, let’s face it, this is a step worth celebrating!
