Leave college with a respected degree and without the mountains of debt to pay for it: you’ll do that here.

At Southeast Missouri State University, we believe everyone deserves the chance to further their education with the personal, academic, social, and financial support they need to be successful.

Combine low tuition with abundant real-world learning opportunities. We are living proof that high quality doesn't have to mean high cost.

Calculate Your Cost and Scholarships

Our True Cost Calculator is your personalized tool to estimate potential financial aid based on info similar to the FAFSA. Though not your official aid offer, it's a sneak peek at what you might expect to receive and what your true cost will be.

Return on Investment

Southeast offers tuition lower than the national average, free tuition for eligible students through the Will To Do Award, and makes more than 75% of students scholarship-eligible with the Copper Dome scholarship. Paired with our academic rigor the return on your investment is pretty incredible.

Scholarships

Scholarships are “free money,” awards you earn that don't need to be repaid. They’re awarded for academic achievement, select programs, or athletic or other ability. Apply for admission by December 1 of your senior year, and you’ll be automatically considered for scholarships.

Financial Aid

Cost should not be the factor that stands between you and success at Southeast. We know your education and your future are top priorities, and we’re committed to doing whatever it takes to make a quality education financially possible. Explore all the scholarship, grant, and loan opportunities to help keep your costs down.
