Your academic success is our priority.

We’re here to help review your first real research paper, navigate Southeast systems, stay on track to graduate and ensure the technology is in place to make it all happen: that’s what we do.

There are any number of opportunities for academic assistance at Southeast, so don’t be afraid to ask. We want you here, and we want to see you thrive.

  • Educational Access Programs enhance the quality of the educational experience for minority students in particular, and all students in general, through programs, services, advocacy, and referral to appropriate resources.
  • Learning Assistance Programs foster and develop an academic environment that is accessible and equitable to all.
  • Outreach and Retention Programs connect the community and students to introduce them to employment in their respective field of interest.
  • Technology Programs ensure students have the applications and access they need to learn in any format.

Get the Support You Need

Improving your skills as a student to a successful, independent learner does not have to be a solo venture. Advising, tutoring, and writing support are all available, through scheduled appointments, for undergraduate students at the Cape Girardeau and regional campuses.

Tap Into Our Success Network

Everything is changing. We're all learning new processes, and in true Southeast Missouri State fashion, we're learning them together. Southeast SupportNET is a network of faculty, staff, and peers to help students on their journey by providing academic support, engagement opportunities, and technology to tie everything together.

Take Advantage of Technology

Southeast is dedicated to serving the needs of the total learning environment, meaning trained support technicians are available to answer any question you may have about the applications and software you need to succeed.
