Recruitment Agency Partnerships

Southeast Missouri State University recognizes that our international student enrollments are the results of the hard work of many people from around the world. We welcome the cooperation of organizations to help us attract the best and brightest students from around the world who want to come to Southeast to achieve their academic goals. If you would like to become an official agent or counselor, please do the following:

STEP 1: Carefully read our Guidelines for Agents. This document is the foundation of our collaborative efforts with recruitment agencies. Any organization that wishes to collaborate with Southeast must agree to the conditions in the Guidelines.

STEP 2: Submit an application to be a recognized agency (PLEASE NOTE: We are not accepting applications for new partnerships in Nepal and India at this time.)

STEP 3: Within two weeks, a Southeast representative will respond to your application. If you are approved to be an official representative, we will send you an agency packet that contains important information about Southeast campus life, academics, scholarships, and much more.

NOTE: Effective immediately, EBI is our official China Office for recruitment in mainland China.  All applications for students from mainland China must come to SEMO through an authorized representative, and any that are not will be directed to our China Office (at no additional cost to the applicant).  The China Office can be reached at
