Prior Learning Assessment
You've done the work. Now get the credit. Southeast Missouri State University offers a variety of opportunities for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), meaning you could get college credits for the professional or military experience you already have.
Steps to Apply
- Complete the application for admission online. Be sure to include the company code LFLA01M on the application.
- Request to have your high school and any college transcripts sent to Southeast.
- Fill out the Lift For Life Academy Rate Agreement form and email the required materials to admissions@semo.edu or mail them to:

Recertification
Current Southeast Online students that wish to receive the discount are required to recertify every semester. To receive the discount, complete the Lift For Life Academy Rate Agreement form and submit it together with the required materials (noted on the form) to the Office of Admissions.Questions?
