At Southeast, we are committed to making the transition to our campus community easier for you.

Transfer Orientation is an optional event for students who have completed 24 or more college credit hours. During this orientation, we introduce you to Southeast, other transfer students, and your academic advisor to jumpstart your education process at SEMO.   
Orientation Dates
Spring 2022 Wednesday, November 3, 2021 Students will attend sessions in the morning and complete a 1:1 advising appointment in the afternoon that New Student Programs will schedule on your behalf.
Summer/Fall 2022 Wednesday, April 13, 2022 Students will attend sessions in the morning and complete a 1:1 advising appointment in the afternoon that New Student Programs will schedule on your behalf.
Summer/Fall 2022 Wednesday, April 27, 2022 Students will attend sessions in the morning and complete a 1:1 advising appointment in the afternoon that New Student Programs will schedule on your behalf.
Fall 2022 Wednesday, May 25, 2022 Students will attend sessions in the morning and complete a 1:1 advising appointment in the afternoon that New Student Programs will schedule on your behalf.
Fall 2022 Wednesday, July 13, 2022 Students will attend sessions in the morning and complete a 1:1 advising appointment in the afternoon that New Student Programs will schedule on your behalf.

Fall transfer students will receive access to an online orientation course with supplemental information. No separate registration is required.  

If you have under 24 transferrable credit hours (at least one full semester post-high school), as determined by your credit evaluation, you must complete First STEP Orientation.

Enrollment Fee 

All new transfer undergraduate domestic students (not exclusively at a regional campus or in a fully online degree program) will be charged a $100 enrollment fee on their first full semester bill to Southeast. There is no separate charge for orientation.
