For our transfer students we also offer a virtual orientation if you choose not to attend an in-person event. This program is self-paced and can be finished over a few days. It will be completed through the campus learning management system, Canvas.

First access to the fully virtual course will be shared in early May for students who enroll during April's priority enrollment window (November for spring starters) and on a rolling bi-weekly basis after.

Find the resources and information you need for Transfer Orientation!

We want to make sure you are prepared for your next step and that includes taking care of your academics. Take a look at our academic advising process and our exploratory option if you are not sure what you want to major in.

Things to Remember

Make sure your most recent transcript is on file with Admissions. Please bring a copy of your currently enrolled courses with you in order to be properly advised.

Be sure to check the deadline for all tuition fees, residence hall room, and meal plan charges, and general fees to be paid in full or to be enrolled in the installment payment plan. If the University does not receive payment by the deadline, you risk having your class schedule, residence hall room assignment, and meal plan canceled.

If you have 15 semester hours of college credit and at least a 3.50 cumulative college grade point average, you are automatically eligible for Southeast's Jane Stephens Honors Program.

Every student must return their Residence Life agreement (with a $150 deposit) or a request for release from the on-campus residency requirement to the Office of Residence Life.
