Helpful Resources for Transferring
-
Transfer Advising
Our Transfer Center team is here to make sure you get started on the right foot at Southeast. They won't just help you get the best out of your prior college credits, but they will also help you find your major and get enrolled.
-
Transfer Mentor Program
Plan and track your Southeast degree from your first semester of college with a professional transfer mentor: You’ll do that here. The transfer mentor will provide you with personal support while you are enrolled at a community college and through your first semester of enrollment at Southeast.
-
Will My Courses Transfer?
There are two easy options for viewing how your courses may transfer. TES allows you to see the classes from your previous institution that have Southeast equivalents; Degree Works Transfer Equivalency allows you to add your completed courses and view how that applies to a Southeast degree.
-
You've done the work. Get the credit.
Beyond standard credit by exam or military-related credit, academic departments and programs offer unique ways to earn prior learning credits for experience you already have, either via portfolio, performance, certification, or other credentials.
Adult Learners
Have you never attended college and looking to make a career change? Or maybe you had a few classes at another community college or university and now you'd like to complete your four-year degree. No matter what, our transfer team is here to help you get started out right.
Agreements & Guides
Does my school have an agreement with Southeast?
We aim to make the transfer process as easy as possible, which means we’ve already made agreements with other colleges, universities, and community colleges across the nation to determine exactly what will transfer in and how it can apply to a Southeast degree.
