Helpful Resources for Transferring

Getting Started

You'll need a few things to begin your journey to becoming a Redhawk.

  1. Fill out a free application for admission.
  2. Send us your official transcripts from every college or university you've attended. (We’ll order your initial electronic college transcript if you meet our 3rd party transcript ordering qualifications.)

Requirements for Admission as a Transfer Student

  • Cumulative 2.0 college GPA
  • 24 or more academic, transferable college hours or meet beginning freshman admission requirements

Adult Learners

Have you never attended college and looking to make a career change? Or maybe you had a few classes at another community college or university and now you'd like to complete your four-year degree. No matter what, our transfer team is here to help you get started out right.

PTK Direct Admission

Phi Theta Kappa members qualify for direct admission to SEMO. Your PTK membership streamlines the application process. Sign in to complete your direct admission and start your SEMO journey.

Agreements and Guides

Does my school have an agreement with SEMO?

We aim to make the transfer process as easy as possible, which means we’ve already made agreements with other colleges, universities, and community colleges across the nation to determine exactly what will transfer in and how it can apply to a Southeast degree.
