We are living proof that high quality doesn’t have to mean high cost.

Our tuition rates are lower than the national average—and combined with our abundant real-world learning opportunities, Southeast is a smart investment in any student’s future.

Look at other four-year colleges in the Midwest and the nation, and you'll see Southeast is below average on cost while surpassing others on academics, opportunities, and student services.

Access is a core value at Southeast, and providing a high-quality, affordable education goes a long way in adhering to it.

Cost and Fees

What you’ll pay as a Southeast student depends on a number of factors — such as whether you’ll live on campus, or whether you’ll learn in the classroom or online. Use our cost calculators to enter your specific situation and estimate how affordable Southeast would be for you.

Scholarships

Scholarships are a great way to pay for college without incurring debt. They're a form of financial aid that does not require repayment. Think of it as an investment in you.

Will to Do Award

We created the Will To Do Award because about 40 percent of our students receive Pell Grants, but we understand that it isn’t always enough to pay for college. And, we think everyone should have access to an education.

Student, Business Administration

"What set SEMO apart when making my college decision was the affordability. Not only is the tuition one of the lowest around the area, but they also offer a multitude of scholarships. Because of this, I have been able to work towards my education debt and stress free."
