Short term programs are taught by Southeast professors who travel with their students. This study abroad option is great for students who want to study internationally, but don't want to spend an entire semester abroad.

Spend two weeks abroad including stops in Belgium, France, and Germany. This program includes presentations at partner institutions University College, Leuven, Limburg (Leuven, Belgium), and Aachen University of Applied Sciences (Aachen, Germany). This program includes business and cultural visits to the designated destinations. There is also a pre-departure program, which includes lectures and discussions on international business and culture-related topics.

Program Description

This program includes visits to cultural sites and health/wellness sites throughout France, Germany, and Switzerland. Some specific sites we visit include Novartis Pharmaceuticals world headquarters, holistic healthcare sites, local hospitals, and the European Parliament. The program has a focus on healthcare in Europe but is open to any major. There is also a pre-departure program, which includes lectures and discussions on healthcare, geopolitics, and culture-related topics.

Program Description

This program includes participation in a one-to-two-week program "International Summer School Schmalkalden" (ISSS) at the partner institution Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences, along with business visits in the designated destinations. This program includes business and cultural visits in the designated destinations. There is also a pre-departure program, which includes lectures and discussions on international business and culture-related topics.

This program also includes a visit to Berlin, the capital of Germany, and a cultural program including Buchenwald Concentration Camp and Warburg Castle.
