We're talking about organizational and productivity tools to keep you on track and on schedule! Some may prefer a physical planner, but, with a phone at your finger tips, why not use it?
We put together a list of some apps that may come in handy this semester!
Google Calendar
This app is free with the creation of a Gmail account (which is also free!). This calendar app is thorough without being overwhelming. You can color code your classes, input all of your homework and exam dates with ease and set reminders to ensure you never miss a responsibility.
Reminders
This app is pre-installed for iPhone users. Within this app, you can create multiple to-do lists to make sure you stay on top of your tasks. This app also has color-coding capabilities, as well as fun icons to make your lists more aesthetically pleasing. When you’ve completed an item, you can check it off and easily see what’s next on the list. This app will send you notifications about your daily tasks to help you stay on track!
Evernote
With Evernote, you can set up individual “notebooks” for each class. Within these, you can take notes and label them as you need, making it easy to organize your work. You can even use it to take notes for your extracurricular meetings, allowing you to keep everything in one easy location. And, if your friends or classmates download the app, you can share notebooks, making it quick and easy if you miss a day of class.
24me
24me is a free app that functions as a virtual personal assistant, providing an all-in-one tool for managing notes, tasks, calendars, and to-do lists.
Wunderlist
Whether you're managing a class project, creating a shopping list, or planning your Spring Break vacation, Wunderlist helps you manage each task. This free app allows you to set deadlines and reminders to ensure nothing falls through the cracks!
Productive
Productive is a free, habit-tracker app designed to help you set personal goals, build healthy habits, and create momentum in your life!
Regardless of the app(s) you choose, it’s important to have some sort of organizational plan in place. Once you identify what works best for you, life as a college student will be much easier!
