Wheelhouse Rousters - String Band

This amazing string band from Western Kentucky draw not only their moniker and musical style from the river and its industry, but also their ebb and flow of energy. Combining original songwriting and long-forgotten songs gathered by Mary Wheeler of Paducah, KY, the Rousters give a new twist to old tune! Tickets $15.

Members of the University’s Copper Dome Society are invited to this annual dinner during which the Alumni Association’s 2021 Alumni Awards will be presented along with the 2021 Faculty Merit Award. We will also be honoring our 2020 Alumni Award recipients as well as 2020 and 2021 Friends of the University. Reservations are required. Admission is complimentary for Copper Dome Society members and $30 for others. RSVP deadline is Friday, Oct. 15. Members of the classes of 1970 and 1971 and their families are invited to view the parade from seating specifically designated for their 50 year anniversary. If you've joined us for coffee and donuts, staff will direct you on where to go from there! Invitations will be going out mid-September.

Sponsored by the Homecoming Planning Committee. The parade will feature floats, marching bands, campus organizations and numerous alumni and student dignitaries. Visit the Academic Hall Dome, learn the history of the University’s landmark administration building and sign your name alongside those of hundreds of other alumni who left their signatures inside the dome over the past century. Vets Corps Pig Roast

The Vets Corps at Southeast Missouri State was established in 1967. Southeast alumni who are veterans and their guests are invited to this annual tailgate event sponsored by the Southeast Vets Corps Alumni. This event will take place on the main Wehking Alumni Center parking lot just west of the Alumni Center along Broadway. Veterans Plaza Gathering of Remembrance

Southeast Missouri State University invites all Veterans, family, and friends to attend the first annual Gathering of Remembrance at the Veterans Plaza. We will honor those in the SEMO community who have served our country in the United States Armed Forces and unveil this year’s new commemorative bricks. A comedic masterpiece in three acts, You Can’t Take It With You is also one of the most popular plays of all time. One of the few comedies to win the Pulitzer Prize, it ran for over 800 shows on Broadway when it premiered in 1936 and has enjoyed numerous successful revivals.
