What if we told you that some students could pay $0 in tuition and general fees?

You’d probably find that hard to believe, but it’s true. At Southeast, we created the Will To Do Award to do just that. About 40% of our students receive Pell grants, but we understand that isn’t always enough to pay for college.

But, wait, what’s a Pell Grant? When you fill out your FAFSA with the federal government to see what type of financial aid you are eligible for, depending on your family’s income, you could be eligible for a Pell Grant, which is money you don’t have to pay back. Sometimes, the amount of the grant doesn’t cover your entire tuition and fees.

How Does the Will To Do Award Work?

After your Pell Grant, Access Missouri, and any other tuition-specific grants and scholarships have been applied, the Will To Do Award covers any remaining amount, so you pay nothing else in tuition and general fees.

How do I know if I’m eligible?

The best way to know is to file your FAFSA by March 1 and apply for admission to Southeast. We’ll review your eligibility based on the criteria below and you’ll automatically be considered for the award.
