Prior Learning Assessment
You've done the work. Now get the credit. Southeast Missouri State University offers a variety of opportunities for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), meaning you could get college credits for the professional or military experience you already have.
Steps to Apply
- Complete the application for admission online. We will let you know if we need additional documentation after you apply.
- Include the company code RHODES01M on the application.
- Fill out the Employee Rate Agreement form and email the required materials to admissions@semo.edu or mail them to:

Recertification
Current Southeast Online students who wish to receive the discount are required to recertify every semester. To receive the discount, complete the Employee Rate Agreement form and submit it together with the required materials (noted on the form) to the Office of Admissions.Questions?
