This data includes sexual assaults that are initially reported anonymously and may be reported to the Office of Student Conduct and Department of Public Safety at a later date. Therefore, there are overlapping incidents between the number of sexual assaults recorded by Center for Behavioral Health and Accessibility and Equity Initiatives, Office of Student Conduct, and Department of Public Safety. For example, a sexual assault that is initially disclosed anonymously to Center for Behavioral Health and Accessibility that is reported to the Department of Public Safety months later, would be counted in both areas.
