Brahms' First Symphony (MARCH 7)

March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Bedell Performance Hall. The Southeast Symphony Orchestra will perform Brahms’ First Symphony, a profound and powerful composition that has inspired generations of audiences since its premiere in 1876. Also on the program will be the winner(s) of the collegiate Concerto and Aria Competition. Tickets $25. Beethoven and Faure (APRIL 25)

April 25 at 7:30 p.m. Bedell Performance Hall. Featuring two powerful compositions; Beethoven’s magnificent Fifth Symphony for full orchestra, followed by Fauré’s inspiring Requiem for chorus and orchestra, performed by Southeast’s Symphony, University Choir, Choral Union, and Chamber Choir.
