Beginning July 11, the Cashier’s Office, which is part of Student Financial Services (SFS), will no longer have open window hours.
Last fall, the Cashier’s Office reduced its hours due to decreased number of in-person payments, better utilization of a new cashiering system, and a lack of adequate staffing. Since implementation of the reduced hours, SFS has continued to experience staffing shortages and fewer in-person payments.
Therefore, beginning Monday, July 11, the Cashier’s Office will no longer have open window hours. The last day the window at the Cashier’s Office will be open is Friday, July 8 from 1-4 p.m.
Continued options for paying on account:
- Online payments can be made via check, debit card or credit card.
- Check payments (or cashier’s check) can be made via the secure drop box next to the Cashier’s Office in Academic Hall. All checks should be placed in a provided envelope and sealed prior to depositing. Cash payments should not be placed in the drop box.
Departmental deposits:
- Departmental deposits can be left with a staff member at the SFS front desk. Deposits will be secured in the Cashier’s Office until normal processing times.
Student Financial Services will continue to process all payments in a timely manner. However, this change is necessary to better allocate time and resources to best serve our students and customers.
