Obtaining and keeping this accreditation is a rigorous undertaking and serves as external validation of the great things our HCBC is doing.In Missouri just over 20 percent of institutions offering an associates or higher degree in business have met AACSBs accreditation standards. Worldwide, a total of882 institutionsacross 57 countries and territories have earned AACSB accreditation in business.AACSB congratulates each institution on their achievement, said Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB. Every AACSB-accredited school has demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curricula development, and student learning. The intense peer-review process exemplifies their commitment to quality business education.HCBC was commended by AASCB for its collaborative culture and engagement between faculty, students, staff and the community, and its review highlighted the College and Universitys programs.At Southeast and HCBC, our primary objective is to train students today, so they can successfully navigate the future needs of the marketplace, and we are strongly committed to providing students with excellence in business education that includes learning opportunities, both in the classroom and using experiential learning, Davila said. AACSB accreditation recognizes the faculty, staff and students drive and what we do at HCBC is innovative and impactful. We are always looking to the future, and we will continue to set processes and policies for success.In fall 2020, HCBC had 1,657 undergraduates majoring in accounting, marketing, management, international business, economics, finance, business administration, healthcare administration and hospitality management.Also, in fall 2020, the College had 126 graduate students enrolled in the MBA program and the Master of Science in Management.The College offers courses in a variety of platforms, including face to face, Web and blended, and in a variety of timeframes, including 16-week, eight-week, six-week and four-week.
