Dear prospective students, students and others,
On behalf of the faculty and the staff at the Harrison College of Business and Computing, welcome! The Harrison College of Business and Computing, through its four departments, Accounting, Economics & Finance, Computer Science, Marketing and Management, offers an array of undergraduate and graduate programs in line with our primary objective of training students today, so they can successfully navigate the future needs of the marketplace. Our college team is strongly committed to providing students with excellence in business and computing education that includes learning opportunities, both in the classroom and using experiential learning (via internships and international study abroad programs, among others). Equally important, we are fully aware of the importance of providing our students with the necessary mentoring and guidance to ensure that they graduate in a timely manner.
Through the process of continuous improvement, we are always seeking better ways to enhance the delivery and content of our education programs. This drive for improvement has been recognized by the American Association of Colleges and Schools of Business (AACSB), which has accredited our bachelor of science in business administration programs, our master's degree in business administration and our Master of Science in Management, and the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET), which has accredited our computer science programs. Consider also that we are one of only four institutions in the U.S. to be accredited by the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS), a recognition that highlights our commitment to the internationalization of all facets of our business programs.
As you review the various sections of our website, please take note of the innovative activities, the impactful nature of these and the level of engagement of our students and faculty in our local and global communities. I am confident that you will agree that what we do at the Harrison College of Business and Computing is special in many ways. Prospective students: we look forward to your questions about our programs, activities and events! Current students, ditto, and as I always say, “study hard!”.
