A new application process for scholarships to help students cover the cost of studying abroad is now available. Please share this information with your students.

This year alone, more than $33,000 in study abroad scholarships will be distributed.

In this new process, students are eligible to apply for an award no matter where they are in the study abroad process. Students selected to receive an award will be able to apply their scholarship to enroll in any study abroad program happening between now (this semester) and the Summer 2021 term. In other words, it doesn’t matter if a student is currently away on a study abroad program, has plans to go abroad sometime in the next year or if they are still shopping around for the program that is right for them. All such students are eligible to apply for an award. Please note, however, award recipients will only receive the scholarship funds if and when they participate in a study abroad program. Any funds not disbursed to an award recipient who does not study abroad before Summer 2021 will be rolled over and given to a different recipient.
