Starting a Small Business
What is Launch U? It is a 20+ hour facilitated course that coaches aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs through business planning, pitching, and tracking financials to ensure their business is feasible. Participants benefit from instruction by a certified facilitator, small group activities, local experts as guest speakers, a Startup Handbook, and a 3-month license for LivePlan, the cloud-based business planning software.
- Business Coach: Receive coaching through step-by-step curriculum and hands-on group exercises
- Feasibility Plan: Conduct market research and develop a SBA-approved analysis of your business concept
- Financial Forecast: Input and evaluate projections with LivePlan for rock-solid, error-free financials
- Pitch Presentation: Prepare and practice an impressive presentation for potential funders and partners
