Here’s the deal: Starting October 13, challenges drop all across SEMO. Complete them, snap a selfie or video as proof, and score a special button at the challenge spot or at the Block Party. The more challenges you knock out, the bigger the prizes—think t-shirts, hats, and even full prize bundles.

This is your chance show your fearless. Race delivery robots. Conquer Cardiac Hill. Take on the challenges that make this campus ours. These aren’t just random activities—they’re the places you'll remember about SEMO.

Prizes

Collect buttons and take pictures throughout the week. Share them with us on social and at the block party, to collect buttons and receive the prizes.

  • Collect 5 buttons: Win a hat
  • Collect 10 buttons: Win a shirt
  • Collect all 15 buttons: Win a full pack

Challenge Buttons

  • High Five Rowdy

    It's hard to attend Homecoming without giving Rowdy a solid high-five! Find our number one Redhawk and take a selfie or picture while swapping a high-five.

  • Chant SE-MO

    SEMO's classic call and response cheer. Take a video of yourself chanting SE-MO!

  • Climb Cardiac Hill

    Every SEMO alum has stories of climbing this hill on their way to classes. Can you do it? Be sure to record yourself while you do.

  • Meet the New Prez

    Don't be shy! Dr. Hodson would love to say hello to you. Exchange a greeting and a handshake with Dr. Brad Hodson during Homecoming week to face this challenge.

  • Connect With an Alum

    Nothing beats a little networking while you're enjoying Homecoming. Connect with an alum and swap stories about SEMO together.

  • Sing the Fight Song

    Just pretend it's karaoke - you'll have to overcome your fear of singing in public for this challenge. Doesn't matter if you're off-key, we're all having fun here.

  • Faster Than A Robot

    Can you make a food delivery faster than a robot? Accept the challenge and outrun the robot with a food delivery order.

  • Put Gum on the Gum Tree

    Leave your fun mark at SEMO on the gum tree sculpture at the top of Cardica Hill. All you need to do is chew a piece of gum and stick it to the tree. 

  • Cheered at the Spirit Rally

    Homecoming is all about school spirit. Join the spirit rally and cheer on the Redhawks to complete this challenge.

  • Signed the Dome

    Make your mark inside the Academic Hall dome along with thousands of others. Climb the stairs and sign the dome!

  • Holland College of Arts and Media

    Test your quick draw skills and put pen to paper at the Holland College of Arts and Media booth during the Fearless block party. 

  • Harrison College of Business and Computing

    The Harrison College of Business and Computing has a challenge for you: follow all of their social media accounts.

  • College of Education, Health, and Human Studies

    To meet the College of Education, Health, and Human Studies' challenge, you'll need to visit one of their academic showcase locations: the EDvolution® Center, the Center for Speech and Hearing, or the Sim Lab.

  • College of Humanities and Social Sciences

    Get an in-depth look at what our College of Humanities and Social Sciences do with this challenge. Attend two of the academic showcase events in Kent Library for this College.

  • College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

    If you want to win this challenge, don't miss the Block Party. You'll need to rope an animal to complete this task!
