This area of study provides a degree for students who are seeking a career in the medical field. Students will be prepared for admittance into a graduate-level health education program.  The curriculum is designed to satisfy the pre-requisite courses for professional programs such as Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.

What You’ll Do 

  • Be prepared to enter numerous health fields and satisfy most pre-requisites for professional graduate programs.
  • Participate in faculty-led research and present data findings at professional conferences.
  • Prepare to enter a Master's degree program at Southeast Missouri State University.

Student must attain a grade of ‘C’ or higher in every major course. A student must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 to remain in major. Critical Courses are italicized and bolded. These courses are indicators of potential for success in the degree program.
