Notre Dame offers coursework through dual credit and dual enrollment that is sufficient to allow students to complete the CORE 42 curriculum while in high school at one-third of the cost.

The State of Missouri established CORE 42, a framework for general education, that all public institutions of higher education have adopted. The purpose of CORE 42 is to make general education within state public universities seamlessly transferrable and more unified. As part of CORE 42, students completing a bachelor’s degree are required to complete 42 hours of specific general education courses, within a set of knowledge areas.
