Thank You, Teachers
Continue to main contentAs a University that began as a teacher's college 150 years ago, educators will always hold a special place in our heart.
Southeast Missouri State University's impact on education happens daily across the world as the thousands of educators who have graduated from the University lead their own classrooms and inspire young minds.
Given the challenges all teachers have faced these last several years, we wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to the profession that launched the University. As schools started across Missouri, alumni who teach in regional high schools received boxes filled with SEMO spirit to hang in their classrooms and to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
Of course, we would love to send thank you boxes to all our teaching alumni, but this was a start. If you weren't at one of the local schools who received boxes, we'd still like to send you a SEMO flag and poster, just fill out this form to tell us where you are.
Most importantly, thank you for all you do. For your students. For your profession. For your communities. For our world. We salute you.
