Eric Tolbert is a SEMO student from Chaffee, Missouri, majoring Art. His interest in animation was influenced by Looney Tunes and the various styles of Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng and Robert McKimson.

According to Tolbert, "The purpose of this exhibit is to provide a preview of my video series I plan to call “Goons.” My hope is that these designs resonate with others and are not meant to be any direct commentary about myself, real-world events or politics. I have simply created this story and characters to share them with others and entertain people."

An opening reception for "The Goons Preview" is Friday, December 5 from 5-7 p.m. in the Nest Gallery.
