Making art is a fun way to express your creativity with various mediums. This is a small group; if you have no experience, this is the place to start. Participants may work on the topics they like or follow mini-lessons taught by Ellen Flentge, curator of education.
January’s theme is Winter Creek. Participants can create a meandering creek in a forest covered with snow and calming blue shadows from inspirational images or imagine it as they go. Colors fade away in the distance and it would be a nice environment where you may add winter wildlife.
January's Art for Adults will be held each week from 9 a.m.-noon and 2-5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Art for Adults is free to the University community. For public registration, there is a $5 fee per class, or $100 for the year. To register, please visit the website.
Crisp Museum is located inside Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus Cultural Arts Center. For questions, please contact museum@semo.edu or (573) 651-2260.
