What is your major at Southeast and what led you to that?

MA Industrial Organizational Psychology
I was led to this degree by my advisor and a general interest in improving organizations and wanting to turn that interest into a passion and career in consulting.

Why did you choose to attend Southeast Online?

It's flexible and allows me to work full-time while taking courses.

How would you characterize faculty support received while taking online classes?

The faculty have been highly accommodating, accessible, and supportive. They answer any question I have and give me advice when I'm not sure what to do. They've also made sure I am aware of any opportunities that might benefit me, such as scholarships, internships, or job openings.

How would you describe your Southeast Online experience?

I'd say it's been really successful. I've been able to take courses towards my degree while working and I've been fully immersed in the content even though it isn't face-to-face.

What is the most important thing you've learned while taking classes with Southeast Online?

I've learned a lot about the resources available to I/O Psychologists via our course content and the professors. I've also learned a lot about myself and the type of career that will fit my personality better. Initially, I wasn't completely sure what would be best for me, but now through learning about different fields of I/O psychology, I've learned that consulting is the right path for me.

Describe Southeast in three words.

What is your greatest academic accomplishment?

It's still in the works! I'm hoping to finish my MA I/O degree with a 4.0 gpa! I'm also quite proud of myself for already completing one Master's degree.

How is your online education at Southeast preparing you for your desired career?

It's taught me a lot about the processes that are involved in I/O consulting including organizational analysis and job analysis. I've also gotten to learn about social behavior, diversity, and leadership and how they all contribute to and impact the understanding and success of organizations.
