What is it that you feel sets SEMO apart when you were making your college decision?
SEMO’s education program is the best in the state! I knew SEMO would fully prepare me for my future career as a teacher.
What is your major and how do you feel that program is preparing you for a successful career?
I’m majoring in Secondary English Education with a minor in Literature. The Teacher Preparation Program has prepared me for my experience in the field as a student teacher and has helped me confidence for when I become a full-time teacher.

My scholarships from SEMO are helping me to graduate with less debt, which means less stress about my finances once I graduate.
What is your favorite thing about SEMO?
My favorite thing about SEMO are the relationships I’ve built with my professors and peers. I’m so thankful that I’ve met a lot of great people here and have created friendships that will last a lifetime!
