Ismatillo Mardanov is a professor of Management at the Harrison College of Business and Computing. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees from the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Mississippi State University. He has worked at the Southeast Missouri State University since 2003.

He teaches Business Policy and Strategy, International Management, and Organization Theory and Design courses in regular semesters and summer sessions. Dr. Mardanov’s courses are eligible for the Honors Program. He also welcomes graduate students to recruit him as an advisor for their Applied Research Projects.

Dr. Mardanov’s research papers were published in international journals such as Economies, Leadership, and Organizational Studies, Evidence-based Human Resource Management: A Global Forum for Empirical Scholarship, Problems of Economic Transition, Global Economy, Medical Marketing, Leadership Studies, Applied Management, and Entrepreneurship, International Business and Economic Research, and Academy of Taiwan Business Management Review.

His future research interests include comparative analyses of the attractiveness of developed and developing countries for foreign direct investment (FDI), the institutional problems of the European Union in Greece, and small business density, institutions, and economic development worldwide.
