I am an Instructor Specialist at Southeast Missouri State University where I serve as Content Coordinator and language teacher.

With a Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, I've taught at the University of Diego Portales, ranked as one of the top five universities in South America, and earned a two-year fellowship sponsored by Georgetown University and the U.S. State Department in the Chilean Ministry of Education training in-service teachers, building local leadership programs, and informing educational public policy.

My research interests include Behavioral Decision Making; Behavioral Economics; Teacher Education; Learning Theory; Cognitive Science; and Applied Linguistics.

When I'm not in front of a classroom or my desk, I might be found walking on local trails, renting children’s books from the library, or working out new flavor combinations in the kitchen.
