What does Southeast Missouri State University mean to you?

SEMO means s lot to me. Being a home town girl and both parents having worked at the iniversity, I practically gtew up on campus.

Why is it important to support students (at a time like this)?

Everyone is struggling right now, but the hospitality industry and small businesses who would employ college students has been especially hard hit. I know I had to work in order to stay in school and sometimes it was a struggle. I'm sure today's students are no different.

Why do you give to Southeast?

I give to SEMO because I want students to have opportunity to attend college with one less financial worry. I want them to start careers without a mountain of student loan debt and to give back to the institution that gave me a great start on my career path.

Why do you believe the work of the Foundation is important?

The work of the Foundation is important because collectively we can accomplish so much together. We can pull together with like minded alumni to create a bright future for all students.

What personal experiences have you had with the students you have helped (who have been helped by the Foundation)?
