Explain your career path
Currently, I am working as a Senior Software Project Engineer at The Boeing Company. Before that, I have worked as a Supplier Program Manager, Configuration Management, and Systems Analyst at The Boeing Company. I am also a Reservist in U.S.Army. I hold several industry-certified certifications such as PMP, CISM, CDPSE, and Agile SAFE. In addition to my full-time job, I am also working on my Ph.D. in Information Technology.
What was your major at Southeast and how would you characterize the quality of that program to prospective students?
My major was Computer Information Systems, I had full support from my department especially Dr. Suhair Amer. She guided me throughout my final project and made sure that I succeed on that project. The Program is designed in a way that a non-tech person can enroll in the program and can get a lot of knowledge out of it.
Why did you choose to attend Southeast?
Being an Internation Student, it is tough to adjust to the community. Southeast made me feel at home away from home.
Who influenced you most during your time at Southeast?
A lot of things could have been wrong. College is the best place to build a characterize of a person. I am glad that I have chosen SEMO and that made me the person that I am right now. There are several people that influenced me during my stay at Souteast among them are Dr. David K. Probst, Dr. Suhair Amer, ENS Mahabub Rahul, Easin Nasib & Ms Duncan from Residence Life.
