The new design continues to prominently feature the Redhawks logo while incorporating the current Athletics logo, which was updated in summer 2020. The University’s ID Services refreshed the front design of the Redhawks ID with assistance from University Marketing.

“After 16 years we are excited to offer a bold and refreshing look to the card that recognizes  former, current and future students and employees as part of the Redhawk community,” said Gretchen Grojean. 

Students admitted for the Summer and Fall 2022 semesters will receive the new card design at their First Step and Transfer Orientation dates beginning Feb. 26. The new design cards will begin limited distribution to current faculty, staff and students as individuals request replacement IDs beginning March 20.

Continuing students may request the new card as they seek replacement for lost or damaged cards in the Center for Student Involvement, located in University Center, Room 204. An online request form will be available to University employees in the Portal beginning March 20.

The University will continue to utilize and accept both cards, until otherwise notified. Local and regional businesses can view both acceptable designs on the ID Services website.
