Gallery Talk by Artist, Louise Bodenheimer will begin at 5 p.m., Sept. 1. Bodenheimer's exhibition "Hybrid" is the largest solo collection Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum has ever shown, with over 300 pieces.

"There is a lot of emotion behind the works I create. I achieve this with the use of contrasts, color, writing, and being honest with what I want to say, which can feel a bit risky at times," says Bodenheimer.

On Sept. 1, Crisp Museum has extended hours 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bodenheimer's reception will be held 4-8 p.m with light refreshments.

During Bodenheimer's gallery talk at 5 p.m. in Crisp Museum, the stories behind the art will be shared, invoking both her professional and personal sides. The 2-D pieces include digital ink, colored pencil, marker, paint pens, watercolors, gouache, acrylics, and multimedia collage. Many pieces are available for purchase. Others, that are not for sale will be included in a book Bodenheimer will publish in the future. Many of her works use both text and images.
