Strategic Enrollment Planning (SEP) brings together a variety of groups from campus who work with recruitment and enrollment to share knowledge, identify trends, monitor metrics, and develop initiatives to advance Southeast in its enrollment goals.

EMSS Data

  • Institutional Research Reports

The University’s Office of Institutional Research provides research and reporting services to inform decisions and improve process. EMSS works closely with the office to provide enrollment analysis based on multiple goals and demographics compiled into various Enrollment Reports.
  • Admissions Dashboard

Enrollment can directly impact the budgetary health of the institution but monitoring enrollment also gives us valuable insights about our students and their needs. The Office of Admissions gathers this data and publishes a weekly Admissions Dashboard to inform campus of enrollment progress and trends.
  • Census Enrollment Summary

Southeast measures its enrollment with four-week census reports each semester and analyzes based on the institution’s goals while comparing with data from other institutions statewide in the Census Enrollment Summary
  • Enhancing Recruitment & Student Success

An Enrollment Transformation Task Force was established in spring 2024 to identify strategies with the greatest potential to improve institutional performance and mobilize the campus community to action. The Task Force analyzed enrollment trends, solicited campus input, and researched emerging enrollment opportunities. The prioritized recommendations from this effort are included in the Strategic Enrollment Plan, updated in June 2024 and available at my.semo.edu

Strategic Enrollment Planning initiatives are carried out by groups across campus. Much of the work and leadership is central to three particular teams.
