The Biennial Faculty Exhibition, showcasing artwork created by Southeast Missouri State University's Department of Art and Design faculty members, will be on display in the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum from November 7-24.

Experience a visual art buffet in these talented professionals' use of the elements and principles of art and design. Some of the faculty participating include:

  • Dr. Joni Hand, Professor of Art History
  • Benji Heu, Professor of Ceramics
  • Justin Miller, Professor in Art & Design
  • Josh Newth, Associate Professor of Art and the Foundations Coordinator
  • Nancy Palmeri, Professor in Art & Design
  • Chris Wubbena, Professor in Sculpture

Contemplate the voice you hear while seeing the creativity they have expressed with figures, architecture, phrases, geometric shapes, colors, and more, using various materials. This broad sampling of fine art encompasses a wide range of studio practices including ceramic, painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and digital technology.

The public is invited to attend an opening reception for the Biennial Exhibition on November 7 from 4-8 p.m. Meet the participating faculty members and create your own interpretations of the works!

Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center on the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus. Museum hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 1-4 p.m. on weekends and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on the first Friday of each month.

This exhibition is free and open to the public.
