The work featured in Family Ties consists of individual pieces and collaborative efforts by Hannah Netherwood and Celia Compton. With a focus on familial bonds via the manipulation of Cyanotypes, or mixed media, both artists express an artistic hand in the physicality represented throughout their photographic processes. Netherwood and Compton’s pieces featured in Family Ties exist in conversation with each other, as they work together to capture the fleeting memories of childhood and the very nature of moving on.

An opening reception for Family Ties will take place on Friday, October 10 from 5-7 p.m. in the Wolz Ruzicka Hallway Gallery. This exhibition is free and open to the public.
