Dr. Asa Wilson, Assistant Professor of Healthcare Management, joined the Management Department in January of 2020. He began his career initially as a clinical psychologist working with families, couples, and children in clinical and academic settings. Dr. Wilson transitioned from clinical care to healthcare administration; serving as a hospital Vice President or CEO. He has been a healthcare management faculty for the past 10 years. His research interests are in organizational performance, internship outcomes, course design and delivery, and challenges of rural health services.
