Matt Palisch is an adjunct instructor at Southeast Missouri State teaching applied organ since 2011. He holds the Bachelor of Music Education Degree and the Bachelor of Arts in Organ Degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Organ Performance and Church Music from the University of Iowa. His teachers have included Gary Miller, Delbert Disselhorst, and Brett Wolgast.

He maintains an active recital schedule with recent programs in Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Seward, Nebraska; and Nauvoo, Illinois. He has also just begun his 6th year as Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Jackson, Missouri, where he oversees an expansive music ministry. St. Paul's active music ministry includes four children's choirs, a select youth choir, three handbell choirs, a 45 voice adult choir and a concert series entitled "Music @ St. Paul." This series has brought many fine organists to the Cape Girardeau area including Lynn Trapp and David Baskeyfield.

Mr. Palisch serves as a consultant for St. Louis Pipe Organ Company and has a great interest in the preservation and restoration of historic pipe organs. He maintains an active role in the American Guild of Organists, the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians, and the Organ Historical Society.
