Southeast Serves Weekend Set for April 7-10
03/31/2017

Southeast Serves is proud to host the Fourth Annual Southeast Serves Weekend April 7-10. This community service extravaganza is the University’s way to show the Cape Girardeau community how much Southeast values giving back. Southeast Serves and the Southeast Serves Weekend Committee invite the campus community to participate. Let’s make this the biggest year yet! Volunteer opportunities will take place all weekend long, with a variety of organizations and causes, including:
  • Breakfast with Bunnies at Discovery Playhouse
  • Softer Nights for the Homeless
  • Glenn House Spring Cleaning
  • Brazilian Carnival Night
  • Playground Clean-Up at the University School for Young Children
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Veterans Home Dance
  • Humane Society of Southeast Missouri
  • And much more
To see the full list of projects available or to sign up for a project, visit http://signup.com/go/HbQSXw. This is a great chance to get involved with friends, student organizations or to volunteer as an individual. Volunteers will also receive a free T-shirt, which can be picked up in the University Center Center for Student Involvement Room 204D. The Southeast Serves Weekend committee has worked hard to organize this year's community service events, and can’t wait to see the Southeast community get involved.
