10-Year River Campus Dance Alumni Celebration Set For April 7-8
03/20/2017

The Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University invites Southeast dance alumni to participate in a Dance Alumni Celebration—10 years at the River Campus -- April 7-8. The two-day event will feature dance alumni teaching master classes, tours of the River Campus, Spring into Dance 2017 performances, a social gathering for re-connecting and a panel discussion on dance by successful teachers, performers, choreographers and entrepreneurs.  The concert performers and master class alumni teachers include Southeast alumnus Zak McMahon (2012), Kelcey Matheny (2013), Amy Coyle (2015) and Caitlin Fields (2013).  The event will conclude with a reception at 9:30 p.m. on April 8 for alumni to network and socialize with current students and community members. Alumni celebration participants receive two complimentary tickets to the Spring into Dance 2017 concert.  To reserve your complimentary tickets and/or purchase more, please contact the River Campus Box Office at (573) 651-2265. The event is an opportunity for alumni to enjoy a weekend of dance reconnecting with peers and faculty and witnessing the growth of the Southeast dance program.  Alumni are invited to reminisce on the incredible times and memories they made with friends who became their “dance family.” The celebration is designed to bring together current and future alumni, as well as community members.  All master classes and panel discussion on Saturday, April 8, are free and open to the public. From Southeast alumni returning home, to members of the Cape Girardeau community, to current students enrolled in the dance program, the event will be one that all will remember.
