Southeast Faculty Member Turned Art Student Displays Work in ‘Upsettable’

The Cateye Glasses Art Studio is pleased to announce the opening of “Upsettable.” “Upsettable” is a collection of sculptural works exploring themes of being upset, whether that involves being turned over, thwarted or experiencing a loss. The exhibit is by Shawn Guiling, a faculty member in Southeast’s Department of Psychology and also a current student in the Southeast Department of Art. This is his first solo exhibition. For more information on the exhibition, contact Shawn Guiling at sguiling@semo.edu. A reception is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. on March 3 in the Cateye Gallery. Cateye Glasses Art Studio is located at 2117B Broadway in Cape Girardeau, beside China Palace and Bloom Studio and Gifts.
