Southeast’s KRCU Hosting ‘The Love Boat’ Valentine’s Day Party
01/03/2017

KRCU will host its annual Valentine’s Day Party at Isle Casino Cape Girardeau on Friday, Feb. 10. The theme is “The Love Boat” reflecting both Valentine’s Day and the many romances kindled (and rekindled) on the popular TV show. The event is sponsored by SoutheastHEALTH, Saxony Village and the Lutheran Home, and Isle Casino Cape Girardeau. Proceeds from the event benefit KRCU. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a social hour followed by a gourmet buffet dinner at 7 p.m., following by dancing beginning at 8 p.m. to the music of Shades of Soul. The dress is business attire. KRCU has hosted a Valentine’s Party for the past two years, selling out both times. “We make every effort to see that this special evening is an enjoyable one for our guests,” said KRCU General Manager Dan Woods. “We set the table, provide the music and even clean up afterward. All that’s required of our guests is that they bring their dancing shoes and have a good time with their friends. If guests prefer to just sit back and listen to the music, that’s fine too!” Tickets may be purchased online at www.krcu.org/valentine.
