‘Pippin’ to be Performed at River Campus

“Pippin” will be featured as part of Southeast Missouri State University’s Bank of Missouri Touring Series at 7:30 p.m. March 3 in the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall at Southeast’s River Campus. “It will be a sheer delight for our community to finally see one of those classic musicals that everyone talks about,” said Bob Cerchio, assistant director of Southeast’s Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts. Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards® including Best Musical Revival, “Pippin” is a high-flying, death-defying hit musical full of extraordinary acrobatics, wondrous magical feats and soaring songs. Hailed by audiences and critics alike, experience one young man’s journey to be extraordinary. This unforgettable new production will lift up and leave audiences smiling. Following its acclaimed run at Boston’s American Repertory Theater, this captivating new production comes straight from Broadway, directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus.
