Changes Announced to Academic Enhancement Program

The Academic Enhancement Program (AEP) will be known as the Academic Coaching Program (ACP) starting Fall 2017. Admission through the ACP is offered to students who do not meet regular admission criteria and live within a 50-mile radius of Cape Girardeau or who submit an approved appeal for admission. ACP provides a holistic approach when working with Southeast students. ACP participants work closely with their ACP advisor to develop and implement a plan for academic success. The academic plan consists of identifying barriers, seeking academic resources, and completing activities to increase financial literacy and responsibility. Students who complete all program requirements will be fully enrolled as a Southeast student in the next academic year. For more information, contact WyKeshia Wallace at wwallace@semo.edu.
