Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) is proud to host the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators at the 2025 Southeast Missouri Regional Science Fair, set to take place on Tuesday, March 4, at the Show Me Center on SEMO’s campus. Open to students in grades 6-12, this event has inspired thousands of young minds, providing them with an early opportunity to explore scientific discovery and innovation.
Students will showcase their research across scientific disciplines, including astronomy, biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences, mathematics and physics. The fair offers young scientists the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills, engage in hands-on learning and connect with experts from SEMO.
This year’s fair features more than 150 projects from 274 students who have dedicated their time and effort to developing unique projects.
