Southeast Missouri State University will transition services provided by the Horizons Enrichment Center to a new provider pending approval by the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
SEMO will continue to operate the Horizons Enrichment Center until the new organization receives approval from the State. At that time, daily functions of the Center will be conducted under a new organization not affiliated with the University. Staff will transition to the new provider.
The Horizons Enrichment Center provides a day program for developmentally disabled adults in the Southeast Missouri area. The Center is located at 2100 Themis Street in Cape Girardeau, offering recreation, life skill activities, and social interaction.
